U21 | England squad named for Cyrille Regis International | Sessegnon and Ejaria included

England u21 manager Aidy Bothroyd has named Fulham’s Ryan Sessegnon and Liverpool’s Ovie Ejaria in his 23-man squad for the Cyrille Regis International against Romania, the FA have confirmed.

Tottenham Hotspur’s Harry Winks and Chelsea’s Tammy Abraham have also returned to the squad.

The international with Romania will pay tribute to Regis who passed away on January 14 at the age of 59. England will then have a Euro qualifier against the Ukraine days later.

The FA said: “As a tribute to the former England, West Bromwich Albion and Wolverhampton Wanderers striker who passed away earlier this year, wreaths from all four of his clubs and the FA will be placed on the pitch along with a minute’s applause to celebrate his contribution to football in England and the Midlands.”
