Arsenal won the Emirates Cup for a fifth time, despite losing to Sevilla in their final game.
After a goalless first-half, Sevilla went ahead through Joaquin Correa just minutes after the restart. He slid an effort beyond the onrushing Petr Cech after beating the offside trap, but the lead didn’t last.
New-boy Alexandre Lacazette equalised for the hosts after the hour mark, slotting home at the far post from Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain’s cross.
Sevilla weren’t to be denied, however, with Steven N’Zonzi restoring the visitors’ lead minutes after Lacazette’s effort. The French midfielder put an effort into the top corner to earn his side the win and preserve their 100% record, but Arsenal surprisingly still won the tournament.
